Sorting Products by Keyword

If you have the Sort by Keyword Module installed on your shopping cart use the following steps to custom sort the way your products list on your site.

1) Login to your admin directory, http://www.(yourwebsite).com/admin or other specified admin address.  Enter admin password supplied to you from W3 when your site was setup.  Forgot your password?  Email us here to retrieve it.

ADD/EDIT your product.
2) Click Products on the top list
2) Click Add Product (for new product) or Edit Product (for and existing product).
3) Enter a SKU- eg. product456
4) Enter Product Name
5) Enter Price
6) Enter Category Association
7) Enter small image name. Use sku from step 3 with .jpg extension- eg. product456.jpg
8) Enter large image name. Use sku from step 3 with _lg.jpg extension- eg.  product456_lg.jpg

SORTING
9) In the beginning of the Keyword field enter number to sort by. For Example: enter 000010XXX. (XXX is the category ID) This will be the first item listed. The second listing would be 000020XXX.

The reason you start with 000010 and 000020 is so that if you add a product that you want to place before after or in between later on, you can simply use a number higher (000005XXX) or lower (000015XXX) without having to edit the other product keyword item numbers.

NOTE: The zeros before the number are essential for ordering properly.
DO NOT ENTER: 10XXX.     (missing zeros in front of 10)
CORRECT USE: 000010XXX.
